I live in a hilly area with poor mobile reception and although FTN on NBN is close, it doesn’t extend to my house and I can only get satellite from NBN. Phil initially installed their R1100 and I was on a 150gb plan with Telstra and achieved speeds over 12mbps, much better than the 4mbps from ADSL. Subsequent to that they installed their latest LongreachWireless R700 product and I now also have Optus. Now I’m on a 500gb plan with speed consistency above 30mbps and sometimes closer to 50! For anyone who can only get satellite and has minimal mobile reception, NBTec is the way to go - faster, low latency, cheaper, reliable connection and better data plans now available when compared to satellite.”
